Charles (he/him) is originally from Southern California.
His love for the arts has taken him from high school
show-choir, to pursuing a BFA in Acting from UC Santa Barbara,
to spending a year as an apprentice with Portland Playhouse. As an
artist who wears a number of hats (Actor, Director, Producer, Teacher),
he’s worked with various theatre companies over the years including
Portland Center Stage, Portland Playhouse, Many Hats Collaboration,
Third Rail, Fuse Theatre Ensemble, and Confrontation Theatre.
In addition to being on stage/camera, he loves to work with students
in theatre & arts education. Charles also has a minor in Black Studies
and is a huge advocate for proper representation for marginalized
communities at all levels of our industry. For him, art is so much more
than just entertainment. It is a powerful gift that he hopes will
change our perspectives, our lives, and our world.
